| ITINERARY
DAY 01
Airport / Colombo Cinnamon Grand Hotel
AM: Arrival & transfer to Hotel Cinnamon Grand in Colombo.
Colombo's premier hotel is situated in close proximity to the business district and all major diplomatic missions.
PM: In the afternoon do a city tour of Colombo, including shopping at “ODEL” in
Colombo.
Overnight stay is at Cinnamon Grand.
DAY 02
Colombo / Dambulla Hotel Amaya Lake
AM: After breakfast, proceed to Dambulla en-route visit the elephant orphanage at Pinnawela. . It is an orphanage for baby elephants set up by the Department of National Zoological Gardens. The Orphanage was established to feed, nurse, and house young elephants found abandoned by their mothers. Other inmates are those found displaced from their natural environs by development projects or those found Wounded.
PM: Thereafter proceed to Hotel Amaya Lake & check-In.
Evening relax by the pool.
Overnight stay is at Amaya Lake.
DAY 03
Dambulla / Kandy Amaya Hills
AM: After breakfast, proceed to Kandy. En route a brief stop at Matale to visit a spice garden and a batik factory. Arrive at Amaya Hills.
PM: City tour of Kandy and visit the Temple of the Sacred Tooth Relic of Lord Buddha. In the evening view a cultural show featuring traditional dance performance. Check in at the hotel fo Overnight stay.
DAY 04
Kandy / Kitulgala / Ahungalla Hotel Heritance Ahungalla
AM: After breakfast, proceed to Kithulgala, the site where the famous award winning film “The Bridge over the River Kwai” was filmed. Today, it is the site for the thrilling water sport White Water Rafting.
PM: Proceed to Ahungalla. Overnight stay at Heritance Ahungalla.
DAY 05
Colombo / Airport Departure
After breakfast departure transfer to the Airport.
